Fodor’s 2009 Turkey Travel Guide – Images by David Honl
I went to Border’s the other day and picked up the 7th edition of Fodor’s Turkey Travel Guide, and the 3 pictures in the above gallery appeared throughout.

Pg. 225, taken on a boat on the Aegean
I had almost forgotten about them, as it was some time last year that had long since invoiced, been paid, and delivered them to Fodor’s via my Photoshelter archive (a real painless way to deliver images to clients from anywhere in the world). A real bonus for me is the fact that each and every one of these pictures holds a real special moment for me. Travel and photography, with enough left over for lunch. Who could not call that a special moment?
Enjoy the narghile, the Aegean Sea, and the belly dancer, on me!
hey david,
the water pipe is actually called Nargile.
You’re right Ben- in Turkish it’s without the “h”, but it’s just force of habit I’ve always spelled it like many other parts of the world…. in any case it’s sweet!
