Links before ’10

starsWe watched Afghan Warrior on the National Geographic Channel last week. It follows National Geographic photographer Reza Deghati throughout one of his return trips to Afghanistan, and he finds the cave where he made his famous photograph of guerilla leader Ahmed shah Massoud. A must watch, if you have the NG Channel- you can see previews here.

I reconnected with an old friend photographer Steven Parke this past week. I’ve always admired his many album covers and artwork for Prince. Check out his work at his website. I really look forwarding to meeting up with Steven again and perhaps sharing some of his stories and techniques with others.

USA Today’s Decade in review is pretty cool and has some insightful video commentary by its photojournalist too.
