I had to renew my passport last month, as I have alot of traveling coming up and many countries require at least a 6 month validity before a passport’s expiration (mine was about to expire in May). So, time for a new passport photo as well. A friend recommended Nic Myers’ Passport Photoshop Template. I shot the self portrait, minus any emotion, with a small softbox in the studio. Worked like a charm, and I didn’t have to do any measuring between my chin, eyes, top of the head, etc.
